Reflect on your development as a blogger?

The idea of blogging was unknown to me until this year. I absolutely love it because of how we are given the control of choosing our own aesthetics and freedom to post when we want to. Blogging is great in how it introduced me to the professional world of literature which allowed me to learn from others. Something interesting that I did was interconnecting my AP blog with my Creative Writing blog which helped me see the effects each class produced on the other.

How would you critique your blog?

I would say a positive for my blog would be that I love all my posts, whether they “appear” great or not, because I know the effort that I put into making them. It is a page of all my writing successes, and I am proud of what I have accomplished in the span of one semester.

For improvements, I would make my aesthetics less dull and plain by finding more ways to showcase the meaning behind my colours. To clarify, I do not want to actually change the black and white colours on my blog, but I would rather find ways to make the reason I chose those colours more visible. Another point of improvement could be to have more posts on my blog because although this is my first year in Creative Writing, I am hoping to increase the amount of blog posts to make my website to seem less open.

What will you do with your blog after this course?

After this course, I will continue to observe the spectacles of human nature, as I did before, but this time post them on my blog for future reference. This blog has become a part of me, and I love that I will be able to keep this memory after I leave high school. Thinking more in the long-term, I want to retire and have a blog like this to come back too so that I can recall all the memories I had in Creative Writing.
